We've had quite the hiatus from posting because the blog was having major technical difficulties. We also acquired a Flip Video recorder so I've been emailing the videos to family since we haven't been able to post them. Well...I think the blog is up and running now so I'm going to post a bunch of videos from the past few months...and hopefully keep them up to date from now on.

A little re-cap of what's been going on in the Vongxay household since January...

Chloe learned all of her colors and letters this winter...and I'm proud to say it was well before she turned 2 years old! She's talking SO much more lately. Thanks to her cousin, Ava, she has been VERY into dresses, dress-up clothes, wearing fancy shoes, and twirling around the house! Where did this girly-girl of mine come from?! Chloe's current favorite movies are Snow White and Tinkerbell. She has been such a great big sister to Jack-Jack (most of the time)...let's just hope it keeps up for baby #3! :)

Jackson is finally walking!! He started taking his first steps a few weeks before he turned one and the day before his 1st birthday, he got it!! Needless to say, he hasn't slowed down since. He loves to do laps around the house...guess he's enjoying his new-found freedom. He's quite the "mama's boy" at the moment. Daddy and I love that he's our "snuggler" since his big sis never really did that. He still only has four teeth...and has for about the last 4 months. I think some new ones are about to pop through on top...probably just in time for him to bite his little brother when he arrives! Speaking of the little devil, I'm scheduled to deliver baby #3 on June 24th! As much as I love my time with just my two little munchkins, I'm ready to meet the little guy that spends his days and nights kicking his mama and worrying her nonstop! 5 weeks from tomorrow and he'll be here...we can't wait! :)

We've been so crazy busy these past few weeks which is why there's been a delay in the video posts. We went to Emerald Isle with Auntie Kim and cousin Ava for a few days last week and had a blast with them! The first video is compliments of Kim, who was trying to take a picture but then realized she was filming- great video though! :)

This next video is when Ava and Chloe were feeding the seagulls with goldfish....only Chloe kept EATING the fish instead of giving them to the birds! :)

We just returned from spending a week at Emerald Isle with the family. Chloe and Jackson got to see Uncle Rob, Aunt Katie, Natalie and Chase. Along with the entire Buckley crew and Nana and Grampy. We had a fabulous time...but then again, who wouldn't when they spend a week at the beach?! Jackson has finally arrived! He was born yesterday, April 28th, at 12:51pm, weighing in at a healthy 8lbs 15oz and was 20.5 inches long. He's doing great so far...sleeping and eating well...let's just hope it keeps up! Daddy was able to capture him just a few minutes after being born...and let's just say that he's not a happy camper at the moment. Can you blame him?! I also caught a few waking minutes of him this afternoon. Here he is!

Chloe and I have been enjoying our last few days of mommy and daughter time before her little brother gets here! We went to the water fountains in Birkdale for the first time the other day. I thought she'd just watch the other kids play and take it all in...but apparently she just wanted to GET in! Needless to say, Mommy didn't anticipate too well. I didn't put her in a bathing suit, nor did I bring a towel...but she sure did have fun! :)

So my little baby girl isn't technically a baby anymore...she turned ONE today! I can't believe it. I guess it's true when they say the days are long, but the years are fast! We had a wonderful lunch at the Olive Garden with Nana, Diahann, Diahann's parents, Jen, and Chloe's two boyfriends, Langston and Lawson...who each gave her a pink rose! It was really sweet! We celebrated her birthday tonight with Paw, Mae, Auntie Kaysone, Uncle Panya, Auntie Michelle, cousin Kara, and our neighbors, Rachelle and Jesse. Thanks to everyone for making Chloe's first birthday such a special day!

Chloe has been "talking" on her cell phone these past few days to her daddy and it's absolutely precious! She puts the phone up to her ear (sometimes backwards, sometimes the right way) and says "Da da, da, da...daddy" it's just the cutest thing. Chloe went to the doctor today for her 9 month check-up. She's doing well...and was told that she can start eating table food (although she's been doing that for a few months now)...but she hasn't tried any real meat. Chloe finally popped her first tooth out! I tried to capture it on camera but it's virtually impossible since it's on the bottom and her tongue seems to always get in the way! She's also graduated from her baby tub to her....well...not-so-baby tub (although it's still a big blow-up ducky). She's a little challenged keeping her balance in there because she gets busy with the toys and forgets to put them down when she starts to tip over! Oh well...a few bubbles in her eyes can't bother her too much, right?! Here's another video clip of her playing with her toys.
