lunch with nana :)

Nana has been staying with us for the past week and a half to help me because I hurt my back, and all I can say is, THANK GOD she's around! We've been having a great time together...and Chloe has certainly been showered with attention since Nana arrived. Here's a short clip of us having lunch together the other day. Jackson Vongxay

Jackson has finally arrived! He was born yesterday, April 28th, at 12:51pm, weighing in at a healthy 8lbs 15oz and was 20.5 inches long. He's doing great so far...sleeping and eating well...let's just hope it keeps up! Daddy was able to capture him just a few minutes after being born...and let's just say that he's not a happy camper at the moment. Can you blame him?! I also caught a few waking minutes of him this afternoon. Here he is!

Chloe and I have been enjoying our last few days of mommy and daughter time before her little brother gets here! We went to the water fountains in Birkdale for the first time the other day. I thought she'd just watch the other kids play and take it all in...but apparently she just wanted to GET in! Needless to say, Mommy didn't anticipate too well. I didn't put her in a bathing suit, nor did I bring a towel...but she sure did have fun! :)

happy birthday to you...

So my little baby girl isn't technically a baby anymore...she turned ONE today! I can't believe it. I guess it's true when they say the days are long, but the years are fast! We had a wonderful lunch at the Olive Garden with Nana, Diahann, Diahann's parents, Jen, and Chloe's two boyfriends, Langston and Lawson...who each gave her a pink rose! It was really sweet! We celebrated her birthday tonight with Paw, Mae, Auntie Kaysone, Uncle Panya, Auntie Michelle, cousin Kara, and our neighbors, Rachelle and Jesse. Thanks to everyone for making Chloe's first birthday such a special day!

i scream...you scream...chloe screams and gets ICE CREAM! ;)

Chloe was a little fussy at dinner so Grampy decided to take her outside and walk around with her. Well...if you know Gramps, that means someone is getting some ICE CREAM!!! Here's a short clip of Chloe trying to feed herself with her very first cup of sherbet :)
