We've been so crazy busy these past few weeks which is why there's been a delay in the video posts. We went to Emerald Isle with Auntie Kim and cousin Ava for a few days last week and had a blast with them! The first video is compliments of Kim, who was trying to take a picture but then realized she was filming- great video though! :)

This next video is when Ava and Chloe were feeding the seagulls with goldfish....only Chloe kept EATING the fish instead of giving them to the birds! :)

Jackson hit a milestone this morning...he rolled over for the first time!! This little boy is growing up too fast for his mama! While he doesn't actually roll over in this video, he really did do it today...TWICE :)

Grampy came down to visit us today and we had a great time. We went out for lunch on the water and then stopped for an ice cream, of course! A visit with Grampy is never complete without an ice cream cone! Thanks for coming to see us...we love you!

We had a special visitor last night and this morning...cousin Madison and Auntie Carrie came to spend the night with us! Chloe had a great time pretending to be the big sister of two...but we definitely need to work on that "sharing" thing! :)

Chloe is such a sweet big sister already. She's always trying to help me feed Jackson and when he cries, she jumps up to get his binki (even though he really doesn't care for it...especially when shoved in his face). I just love my babies! :)

Chloe was playing with Jackson this morning and it was too cute! I tried to get it on camera but of course I missed it. Oh well...at least she tried to go back to playing with him, after unsuccessfully getting her hands on my camera! Sorry for the bedhead, we didn't quite get out of our pj's before we started filming ;)

So I decided to give the kids a bath together for the first time the other day. Chloe was a little surprised when she saw her little brother in there with her, but she still had fun. Poor little guy got poked and prodded more than he does when he goes to the doctor! But after all...what are big sisters for?!?! :)

I heard Chloe imitating me and trying to count on her fingers in the car today. I tried to get it on video but was unsuccessful. So...we tried again tonight. Clearly she's not saying the words...but she's got the right idea! :)

jackson-10 weeks :)

We just returned from spending a week at Emerald Isle with the family. Chloe and Jackson got to see Uncle Rob, Aunt Katie, Natalie and Chase. Along with the entire Buckley crew and Nana and Grampy. We had a fabulous time...but then again, who wouldn't when they spend a week at the beach?! Here's a short clip of Jackson trying to laugh (he really was laughing before Kelsey started filming, but of course he stopped once the camera was rolling!).

We had quite a wet day today...started out at the fountains for a few hours and ended the day swimming at the pool. Needless to say, Chloe was in water heaven! :)

We went out to a Mexican restaurant the other night and Chloe had a great time. She got to listen to the mariachi band (which she LOVED) and helped herself to some deep fried ice cream (which she was pretty fond of, too). Lucky girl! Here's a video of her digging in :)

Nana has been staying with us for the past week and a half to help me because I hurt my back, and all I can say is, THANK GOD she's around! We've been having a great time together...and Chloe has certainly been showered with attention since Nana arrived. Here's a short clip of us having lunch together the other day. Jackson Vongxay

Jackson has finally arrived! He was born yesterday, April 28th, at 12:51pm, weighing in at a healthy 8lbs 15oz and was 20.5 inches long. He's doing great so far...sleeping and eating well...let's just hope it keeps up! Daddy was able to capture him just a few minutes after being born...and let's just say that he's not a happy camper at the moment. Can you blame him?! I also caught a few waking minutes of him this afternoon. Here he is!

Chloe and I have been enjoying our last few days of mommy and daughter time before her little brother gets here! We went to the water fountains in Birkdale for the first time the other day. I thought she'd just watch the other kids play and take it all in...but apparently she just wanted to GET in! Needless to say, Mommy didn't anticipate too well. I didn't put her in a bathing suit, nor did I bring a towel...but she sure did have fun! :)

So my little baby girl isn't technically a baby anymore...she turned ONE today! I can't believe it. I guess it's true when they say the days are long, but the years are fast! We had a wonderful lunch at the Olive Garden with Nana, Diahann, Diahann's parents, Jen, and Chloe's two boyfriends, Langston and Lawson...who each gave her a pink rose! It was really sweet! We celebrated her birthday tonight with Paw, Mae, Auntie Kaysone, Uncle Panya, Auntie Michelle, cousin Kara, and our neighbors, Rachelle and Jesse. Thanks to everyone for making Chloe's first birthday such a special day!

Diahann and Langston came over last night for some (early) birthday brownies and ice cream. Well, we used her birthday (which is today) as an excuse to eat them! Anyways, Chloe and Langston were having a ball just running around and playing! Langston officially started walking recently and Chloe is LOVING having someone her size to run around with!

Typically when we go shopping, Chloe sits in the shopping cart while we stroll through the store. Well...I decided to let her walk around the other day when we were at Target and apparently it was the next best thing to sliced bread for her! :)

Poor baby Chloe has been sick for the past six days...but I think she's rounding the corner. And my poor Mom, Dad, and sister who caught it from her...sorry about that! We went to Cracker Barrel this morning for breakfast and Chloe was enjoying her pancakes...thought I'd share. :)

I tried to catch Chloe chatting away when she woke up from her nap yesterday, but she saw me so it wasn't quite the same. Oh well...it's still fun so see her bed-head face when she's freshly awake from a nice long nap!

Chloe has been "talking" on her cell phone these past few days to her daddy and it's absolutely precious! She puts the phone up to her ear (sometimes backwards, sometimes the right way) and says "Da da, da, da...daddy" it's just the cutest thing. She was doing it the other night and I tried to catch it on video, but of course I was a little late. Oh well...enjoy the video anyways! :)

We spent some time in Chapel Hill last week for Kelsey's 16th birthday...we all had a great time. I caught a few minutes of Chloe and I having lunch one afternoon with Nana and Grampy...

Chloe went to the doctor today for her 9 month check-up. She's doing well...and was told that she can start eating table food (although she's been doing that for a few months now)...but she hasn't tried any real meat. So, I gave her some roast beef and corn tonight for the first time and she loved it....must be the Irish in her! ;)
